Can you tell me about your photography style and how it has evolved over time?

I’ve always leaned more toward darker and moodier. Im taking a more candid approach for weddings recently and I really love the emotions I capture.

How would you describe your photography style (e.g., documentary, traditional, photojournalistic, fine art)?

A mix of documentary and traditional

Do you do mostly posed shots or candid, natural photos?

I’m a sucker for candids but I do it all.

What wedding photography packages do you offer, and what’s included in each?

I have a few different packages depends on the hours you are wanting. 8 hr is $3500 and includes an engagement or bridal session, all images on an online gallery and usb. All packages can be customized. 6 hr package is $2800 and includes all images on an online gallery. I also have an elopement package for 2 hrs that starts at $800 and includes all images as well.

How many weddings do you typically book in a month or year?

Usually 15 or less right now. I shoot all my weddings myself.

Do you shoot in color, black-and-white, or both? How do you decide on editing choices?

Both. The editing really depends on a factor of things I know what colors I want specific ones to look like and I got from there keeping people’s skin tones accurate.

How long after the wedding should couples expect to receive their photos?

I’m a crazy person and usually get them back within a month sometimes a couple weeks. Depends on the season and how busy I am.

What happens if you’re unable to attend a wedding due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstance?

If I die lmao jk I’d find an associate shooter that I trust enough for the job.

How do you work with other vendors such as planners, DJs, and especially videographers?

The only way is together. Most people do this every weekend so you get used to seeing the same faces and it’s fun!

Can you walk us through your typical timeline for a wedding day?

I start with details & flat lays. Then any getting ready shots the girls and guys want getting anything we can get done before the ceremony so the bride and groom can enjoy their wedding with their guests. Usually first look or first touch next if not ceremony details and reception details if available. Ceremony then family photos and bride and groom sunset photos followed by the reception!

What’s the best piece of advice you would give to couples when planning their wedding photography?

Hire a planner/day of coordinator for me and you both trust me, you don’t want that stress.
